This is a nice apartment over the garage. One long flight up. Looks just like the advertisement, almost as if it went through an HGTV decoration makeover five years ago. It was a very good value.
It sits on the corner lot of a numbered county highway and a residential street, with the bedroom windows overlooking the county road that sees noticeable traffic by 5am = Never got to sleep in to our 5:30 alarm except on Sunday. And everyplace we wanted to go was a left turn which was a bit of a challenge.
We were disappointed on arrival (March) to find a dry hot tub.
I recommend that the host send the "how to" link a week before arrival for future visitors, as there is no physical instruction book in the space - We got a VRBO message moments before arrival. It included the door code (which was readable in the VRBO message notification) and a link to an online instruction set (which I couldn't even tell was there until I returned home and signed into VRBO on my computer). Probably not an issue for those with a modern phone and the app.
It was never really clear what the parking situation was. sometimes we would block the garage, sometimes there would be other cars there (we never saw the same vehicle twice) but we were able to find a street space within 100 yards.
We would do it again if the price still made sense.
