「Had a very enjoyable stay .Very clean rooms bed comfy and Breakfast very well cooked and quality ingredients .」

「My experience was impressive from the moment I checked in to the time say bye to the host. Combination of homey atmosphere and very nice room furnitures, which were professionally managed, offered us fantastic stay. The B&B situated in 15 to 20 min walking distance from Bowness-on-Windermere, the nearest town, where you can enjoy shopping and dinning, and we benefited from very calm room environment because of the location. Taxi was available when we wanted to return to the B&B after dinner,...

「The host cancelled my booking the day before I was due to book in because I use a walking stick and the room was on the middle floor. When I made the booking there was no mention on the booking page about about difficulties I may have. The reason given was not enough room on the expedia page. I was also refused a refund, which I find very disappointing as it was the host who cancelled my booking, not myself. Very disappointed allround.」

「There weren't shops or much nearby. But i think the purpose of this lodge is that you get to see the countryside and visit the 3 peaks Yorkshire as it's the closet by 27 mins drive. Plus it got a bath tub which is needed after a long hike.」

「Property was quiet, warm and generally clean - good location so we could walk to a couple of restaurants. Would have felt safer if other clients remembered to close the inner front door, which was on a keypad lock!! A couple of minor things which I mentioned directly to the Mode people - but not a deal-breaker!」

「We arrived at the property to find that we had been double booked and no room was available as the property was now full. We had to find alternative accommodation in the area and we luckily found one property that had one room left. Grassington lodge offered no help in finding alternative accommodation due to their error. Extremely disappointed with how it was all handled and how we was treated and we would never use or recommend this property in the future.」

「Staff were very attentive, from friendly welcoming on arrival to loaning a charging adaptor, to breakfast on the following morning on the table at the time agreed. The bedroom however could benefit from a good clean, and suffered from dated decor. I however think the cost of the room was very good value. The Guest House is just a short walk from the Promenade close to the Tower, but is far enough away to not suffer from noisy revellers on a Friday night in mid Summer」

「The owners were lovely, friendly and very welcoming. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Although there is no onsuite toilet the ones available were very clean. In our room we did have our own shower room. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice quite B&B」
