Had a very nice 2-night stay at Loch Long Hotel with my daughter and grandson. On arrival the reception area is very bright, modern and welcoming. The man on reception is extremely polite. After reading some really negative reviews I wasn't expecting much but was more than pleasantly surprised by how nice it actually is. We stayed in the family room, which is small but adequately eqipped with a double and single bed and bath. The room was lovely and warm,bedding was very clean and the hot water was perfect. Plenty tea/coffee and toiletries. I used the free hot tub and sauna which was fantastic. The food was superb at each meal for all three of us. Considering that this is a budget hotel with a budget price it gave excellent value for money. Entertainment in the lounge was also excellent. We will definitely return here

Room was lovely and clean. All the staff were attentive and courteous.

The hotel is lovely and located well. The only criticisms were the very creaky floor and very noisy coffee machine. A kettle would be great, a lot quieter than the coffee machine.

My daughter and I stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Good location and great view from dining area , nice rooms and breakfast. Mattress a bit on the firm side.
