"I shared 2 reviews already, unfortunately not very good. So I will be brief this time. Hotel is not a Marriott. Not the same quality. It seems that management is more worried about making it look clean and nice than the comfort of the travelers. Very weird room designs with bed by the bathroom so you cannot seethe tv, and a useless couch where the bed should be. Rude staff who serve breakfast. I was literally told “what do you want? Why are you standing here?”. Well, I just wanted to order breakfast. No breakfast buffet. Everything overpriced. Location and layout of the hotel is weird. Nothing except 1 bar in the walking distance. Worst of all is a bathroom that is literally dangerous for life and totally unsafe. They add some kind of soap or alkali to the water. It made my skin itch. Also the shower is so cheap that it doesn’t move at all, and water is spraying on the floor. The terrible thing it that this soapy/alkaline water (I am sure they just don’t want to bother cleaning the water stains!) when it is sprayed on the bathroom floor makes it extremely dangerously slippery. I slipped and hit my head on the floor and spent a night in the ER!!! I had to place bath towels on the floor after that for the rest of my stay to be sure not to slip again!!! I actually tested it. Water on the floor-slippery as hell. Never ever have I experienced this in any hotel and I travel a lot. Maybe management should rather clean hard water stains than subject customer to mortal danger!"

"Beach view mostly obstructed by other buildings, parking lot down and across the road provided a good view. Pet friendly max weight 43 lbs.... Not a high end resort but excellent for the cost, and accommodating."

"We found the Malibu's beachy vintage vibes to be very welcoming. Rooms have been updated with new furniture, flooring, bedding, and have a great feel to them. Bathroom was original and clean.There was music by the clean, heated pool. Staff accommodated our daily fresh towels and were friendly. No daily housekeeping which we liked. Across the street from the beach. Lots of amenities near by. A sweet spot🌴☀️🦩"

"Pros: Clean, staff great, restaurant good, walking distance to beach, sits on harbor, rooms nice Cons: 1) some of the rooms look out to a courtyard, ours was on the same floor as the courtyard, that night some kids were playing with a volleyball in the courtyard until 11pm 2) only valet parking available 3) half the lights didn't work in the room"

"The staff was outstanding at the DoubleTree! We arrived 4 hours early, and the main desk staff person was able to get us in our room immediately! He also signed us up for Hilton Honors in which we received some great perks saving us money. Their restaurant Coconut Charlies was so good that we never ventured out to any other restaurants. My new favorite sandwich is their Hawaiian chicken sandwich! Unfortunately the weather was cool and windy most of the time we were there so we were unable to use the pool. Our balcony overlooking the ocean was a great place to sit and read which I did. We plan on going back to the Double Tree Beach Resort in North Redington Beach! "

"We’ve stayed here before and the location is great. Lots of things to do within walking distance. Was disappointed in the shape of the rental now and the limited amount of toiletries for the amount of people staying. "

"The host was welcoming, and responsive! Whenever we needed anything they provided it-including recommendations! The pool was great for our kids! Good beds and great rooms! Thanks for a wonderful stay! "
