Room is very small. But so is the price, I guess. Shower drain was plugged this morning. Could not have 2 consecutive morning showers. Told the management on my way out. Response was I could use the room next door to shower. Really? I told him he should send me a discount. Hard to imagine the look on his face when I suggested he should send me a discount to compensate me for "no shower" this morning. "No No, use the room next door." You know; "you get what you pay for!"

Small very basic motel, but clean and comfortable. If you are going to be out all day and just need a place to sleep, it's great. The location is very good and it's even walkable (long walk) to the Million Dollar Beach and the Steamboat Marina, so you would save on the parking fee.

The owners of this property are fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about them. Very welcoming and kind. We will definitely stay here again. Good old-fashioned motel experience that you don't really see too often anymore.

The room was very small but we didn't spend a lot of time there anyway. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and had hot water. It was perfect for an active weekend away at a decent price. Would definitely stay again.

Inexpensive, safe, and clean!!

I am so impressed with this little motel! Clearly family run. Very friendly people! The room was small and maybe not a destination in and of itself, but for a safe and clean place to sleep and shower, it was perfect! They definitely keep it clean and maintained very well and the next time I am in the area I will certainly use the Doray Motel!

What you’d expect in a small motel. By far the most reasonably priced motel in / near Lake George. The owner was very nice and friendly.
