"The hot tub was amazing! I was looking for a place with a hot tub and close enough to downtown to easily get to activities in New Braunfels. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean which is always most important. It got cold out so we didn't go outside much, but there are multiple places to sit outside and enjoy the view when the weather is nice. We did run the window AC units for a little while when we first got there and they worked well. We had three adults and found it to be a comfortable stay for a good price. Thanks for sharing your cute cottage with travelers!"

"The house had a beautiful view of the water and the nice homes across the lake. The outdoor space was incredible with all sorts of water toys. I enjoyed using the new griddle while watching the kids be kids. Fishing wasn’t great, but the kids had a good time reeling in some small pan fish. We would definitely stay at Opa’s Haus again!"

"This property was great for me and my friends to stay at! It had great views of the lake and was conveniently located to everything fun New Braunsfels has to offer! The house was very clean and spacious allowing everyone to be comfortable. The host was incredibly responsive and answered every single question I had! I would highly recommend staying here for your next big trip or family vacation! "

"The kids loved the treehouse and the pool area was perfect for the little ones with a shallow walk-in area. "

"The stay was great. The pool is feet away from tree house. However there is no longer a slide/from the floor to the tree house as advertised online and there is only 1 horse swing for the children. The pool was really big however I do think in they can maybe filter it better. It was super cloudy. "

"The place was dirty... The AC filter was disgusting, the clean filter light was on. Cob webs everywhere and the small blue couch was dirty. I would not stay there again especially for the price. "
