"The staff was very helpful and friendly; it wasn't their fault. The pool and hot tub worked. Those were the good things about it.
The place was fairly rundown and the walls in our shower and room were screwed up. The shower didn't have any pressure, almost impossible to rinse off. They didn't have any trundle beds.
It got us out of a bind, but it could've been better as far as the amenities."
"The grounds were a mess. The entry drive and doors were unkept. Upon inspecting property on arrival, we decided to go to another hotel. Our Marriott experiences are normally great. This one was not."
"Booked it for the pool. Got there, pool is completely empty, but pictures show a nice kept pool. Tv remote didn't work, stuck on the Spanish channel. Called and waited for someone to come, unfortunately they came the minute after we left to go to a store. AC barely got cool. At the end of the stay my son lost something so we took blankets and pillows off only to find an old room key in the sheets. Just EWWW!!!"
"Overall, our stay was fine. We were put off at check in by the hotel policy to charge fees for early check in. We showed up at about 2 pm and thought we’d see if our rooms might be ready. There was only one car in the lot and the hotel seemed not busy. The clerk told us that our rooms were ready but the hotel policy was to charge $40 for early check in. In fact, they display prominently a sign that early check in would be charged $40 from 10am- 3pm, $75 from 6am to 10am, and the full day charge to check in prior to 6 am. Also, it was slow and involved for us to check into two rooms. I had booked two rooms under the same name. It seemed impossible to charge two rooms to the same card, so we had to go through this entire (and slow) process twice to get us into our rooms and two credit card charges. We also asked for rooms next to each other. We got rooms 204 and 205, which sound like they might be next to each other, but they were on opposite sides of the hall and about three doors away from each other. The rest of our stay was fine, our rooms were as expected, clean with decent beds and amenities. Breakfast was reasonable."
"The new owners are rude.
The rooms were dirty.
I took pictures of the bugs in the room, the dirty towels and what my socks looked like walking in this pig barn.
The room 2 doors down partied nightly until.about 01:00. Nobody cared.
Just down the road is a cheaper and WAY BETTER PLACE!"
"This was the worst stay of my life! We checked in after a very long day of driving and were given a room on the 2nd floor. Asked about ice and was told that the ice machine was broken. After dragging all of our luggage up stairs, past a group sitting outside their rooms drinking beer, we discovered the room was dirty. Sheets on one bed had visible lipstick and dirt on them and bugs when the covers were pulled back. The other bed was full of dirt crumbs. I called down and reported the condition and the girl who checked me in asked if I wanted to come and get clean sheets. I told her I would rather have a clean room. Went back to the desk where I was given a different room on the first floor. The desk agent barely spoke to me and certainly didn't seem to care that we had been placed in a dirty room. We moved everything down only to realize this room was not much better. Sheet looked slept in and the furniture was stained. Bathtub had a dirt ring around it, paint peeling off the ceiling and the counters were grimy. I had no faith that moving again would help. We slept in our clothes after covering the bed with towels and using our jackets for cover. I didn't even want to walk on the carpet without at least socks on. Showered in the morning wearing our flip flops. Went down to grab a quick bite to eat to find that all of the food was wiped out by the time we arrived at 6:40 am. I couldn't wait to leave this place in my rear view. Do NOT stay here!"
