Welcome to the newly opened "Kuckucksnest", our beautiful vacation apartment. This 2-room apartment with a large garden towers over the city park of Lahr and was lovingly designed in the summer of 2023. The interior combines style and modernity, creates a cozy atmosphere and offers everything to escape from everyday life.



Lahr is the perfect starting point for exploring the Black Forest, along the Rhine, in neighboring Alsace (France), to Europa-Park Rust, to the water world Rulantica, to the Kaiserstuhl as well as for city trips to Gengenbach, Strasbourg, Baden-Baden, Freiburg or Karlsruhe.



The apartment is nestled in a lot of greenery on a quiet residential street at the foot of the Schutterlindenberg in Lahr. With an area of 82 sqm, it offers space for up to 4 people and includes a bedroom with a generous 180 x 200 cm box spring bed including bed linen. The modern, new bathroom offers a floor-level shower with shower system, toilet, vanity set, towel radiator, hairdryer and provided towels. The fully equipped kitchen has an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge including freezer compartment, fully automatic coffee machine, microwave with steam cooking function, toaster, kettle, egg boiler, hand mixer and sufficient dishes, glasses, pots and pans. Coffee beans, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, spices, vinegar and oil are already available.



The spacious living/dining area (28 m²) offers an oak dining table and four chairs, a sofa bed (145 x 190 cm), a comfortable armchair, a TV with satellite TV, a DVD player, a HiFi compact system and a historic cuckoo clock. The hallway area is equipped with wardrobe and an antique farmer's chest from 1803. From the living room and bedroom you have access to the south-facing 30 m² terrace with dining set, deck chairs, a Weber grill, an awning and a parasol. The fenced private garden also has a lockable garden shed. A parking space in the yard is included.



You can walk to several restaurants in just 5 to 15 minutes. Nearby attractions include a hiking trail right outside the front door to the Schutterlindenberg (297 meters above sea level), the Lahr City Park just 500 meters away, and the Terrassenbad Lahr swimming pool 800 meters away. Other attractions include Europa-Park Rust and the Rulantica water world (15 km), the ruins of Hohengeroldseck Castle (18 km), the Black Forest Gengenbach (22 km), Strasbourg (40 km), Baden-Baden (60 km), Freiburg (55 km) and Basel in Switzerland (100 km).



For our guests we offer the use of washing machine and dryer, parking directly in front of the house, beverage service and garage on request. Pets are welcome. An e-charging station is located 500 meters away. The beds are made and towels and dish towels are ready.
