"Property was pet friendly and helpful staff. Location is excellent. It’s also an older property and the air conditioner brought in weird burnt smells into the room at times. The curtains were dusty/stained from the air conditioner."

"The pool and slides were nice, the room was decent too. Not worth the excessive money though. Started with parking which was disorganized and the staff couldn’t answer questions about it. The parking app wouldn’t load and it ultimately cost over $100 to park and the price wasn’t listed on the booking site. Once inside I waited in a line out the door for the self serve check in. Once it got to our turn it has to send you a confirmation text, which didn’t work, so then I had to go wait in the desk line which was even longer! Finally get through and they said I would get a text at 4 when my room was ready. 4 pm passes, 5 pm passes, I finally go wait in line again to see why I didn’t get a text and they say “oh, your room is already ready” and I get the impression it had been for a while, so why no text?! Climbing park was an up-charge which equals about $1 minute and half that time was spend bumping into people and backtracking because there is no forwards and backwards. Just a disorganized mess. Bowling was weird with small short lanes. Fine for kids around 6 years old, otherwise I wouldn’t recommend. The wand game was a good idea, but $70 was crazy. You buy this expensive piece of plastic and they still charge you a separate fee to play the game. Like seriously? The $60+ I paid for this thing doesn’t cover the game that it’s used for? We had fun in California doing lots of different things and while the stay at this hotel was meant to be the highlight, it definitely was not "

"Staff was friendly. We slept very well; the bed and pillows were very comfy…except for the yellow stain. The thermostat did not work, but the temperature was tolerable. The gathering areas were beautiful and well kept. However, the rest of the facilities do not reflect the caliber of hotel Embassy once used to be. The rooms had very obvious cosmetic issues and significant wear and tear, from stains, to scratches and paint smudges. There was a squashed water bug near the pool. Another guest found mold and took a picture of the roach crawling up the wall in her room. Needless to say, she and her family checked out early. The toilet had a wonky handle that seemed it would break at any moment. The very next morning, the tank stopped refilling with water so we couldn't flush. i had to pour gallons of water into the tank (not the bowl) just to flush until maintenance could come. The elevators were unreliable and a family became stuck for over an hour. The phones in the room did not connect to the front desk. I had to use my phone to call the location and go through reservations just to reach the front desk. Even though I indicated we had 3 adults and 3 children, we were supplied with towels for 4 people. I waited for several hours (from checkin all the way until early afternoon the next day) for additional towels even after going down to front desk. WiFi had a weak signal and kept logging out. Only basic channels on the tv, no apps or ways to log into other streaming platforms. "

"The rooms are comfortable and relaxed. Soothing music and aromatherapy welcomes you when you walk in. The staff is helpful and efficient. When they heard we were celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday, a bottle of sparkling wine was in our room when we arrived. The view from our suite was fabulous, and the huge private deck was incredible. Private access to the beach is such a nice amenity."

"Patio/poolside furniture was falling apart and there was sand in the jacuzzi. The pool closest to the street didn’t look like it had been skimmed that day. The flooring in the hallways was peeling. The decorative pillow on my bed was stained. The bathroom light fixture was corroded and the shower curtain wouldn’t close all the way, at either end. It is an old property, and it needs some major upgrades, but you can’t beat the location. The beach attendant was prompt and the loungers were very comfortable."
