""We absolutely loved our stay at Hughes Hideaway! The lake and mountain views are truly incredible, the kind you never get tired of waking up to. The cabin itself is so cozy with beautiful, high quality furniture that makes it feel both comfortable and elevated. The beds were super comfy which made it easy to fully relax.One of our favorite touches was the fully stocked shed with lake toys, such a fun bonus and perfect for enjoying the water. The host was incredibly responsive and even left a thoughtful welcome gift, which made the stay feel extra special.It’s just a quick 5 minute drive to downtown Lakeside, but still feels completely private and peaceful. The perfect mix of convenience and seclusion. We can’t recommend Hughes Hideaway enough and will absolutely be back!""

"I wish I could give this property and host more than 5 stars. My family and I had the best time! The backyard was spacious and had a beautiful view of the lake. It snowed the whole time we were there but between the fire pit, 2 hot tubs, and sauna we still spent most of our time outside. Except for when we had family tournaments on the pac man machine and foosball table. The streets were plowed often which made it easy to still get to the main road and explore other towns like Kalispell, Whitefish, and Glacier National Park. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors were very kind. Tamarack brewery down the street is a must! The host, Kim, was very responsive with any questions we had throughout our 5 day trip. I also VRBO my home and Kim knows how to be a truly exceptional host. We didn’t want to leave and started planning our next trip while we were still there. Can’t wait to come back and book this beautiful home!"

"Beautiful property inside and out. This was our third visit in October. Very clean, owner is prompt to respond, and communication before, during, and after our visit was great. The kitchen and baths had everything we needed. Relaxing on the deck, in the hot tub, by the fire place, and exploring the bay in kayaks can’t be beat. We will be back again!"

"The place was pretty much as described in the listing. It was recently remodeled and it actually has 4 completed bedrooms and a 3 bathrooms (one on each level). Everything was really well done. It had everything we needed. The location feels remote, but a very quick/easy drive to the nearest market/town/lake (less than 5 min). It is not really walkable as there is no path or sidewalk however. Almost all of the essentials for cooking were in the house, including spices and some other basic items in the refrigerator. Traditional coffee pot, filters, and a kurieg. The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms very clean with nice towels. It really felt like we were at home. Very enjoyable and I would highly recommend it."
