A 5-star hotel in a 2-star neighborhood. Staff are excellent, airport transfers were prompt and courteous, the room was amazing, and enjoying the morning on the room's balcony was glorious.
Stick to the main streets and all is good. Things get real sketchy, real quick for those that go exploring. People are generally friendly though. A little Español and a sincere smile goes a long way.

"The location to the airport was ideal, but the location was not near anything useful. Siesta time was greatly honored. To take a taxi to downtown was about 1 hour away. If looking for some place to rest away from the noise, it is an ideal place. Eating is another story."
