This hotel-style apartment was exactly what my husband and I needed for a two-week stay. Due to coronavirus, work and very high heat, we spent most of our time indoors. The kitchen was well-equipped for weekday cooking, the living room layout was function and comfortable (loved the firm and supportive couch, the coffee table easily wheeled away for fitness workouts and yoga), the bedroom was dark and quiet, and the bathroom was very spacious and received ample natural light.
The nearest pool was only steps away and mostly quiet. It seems to be only one of a few pools on the property designed for lap swimming, rather than just splashing around, but it's very shallow and much smaller than Olympic size.
The location, like probably most of the resort-style properties in the area, is not ideal for long-distance road running as it is surrounded by very busy roads. However, there are plenty of sidewalks so it's fairly easy to map out a route for a long run. For short walks, there is a pedestrian path right outside the gates and there are plenty of bike lanes for cycling.
There are no restaurants or health food stores within walking distance and the area is generally lacking in terms of healthy vegan/vegetarian options besides the standard raw salads.
