"From the moment we arrived to the time we left we couldnt have been more happy. Never having spent time in an all inclusive resort before, we couldn't belive how relaxed we became. The staff were fantastic especially the restaurant staff, and the food choice we were able to feed the kids without complaints. The hotel is rough around the edges but nothing impacted on our time. We come to Mauritius every two years and all the family have said they would return to the outrigger. Would i recommend this hotel, if you want absolute luxury and staff standing over your every move, no. But if you want a relaxed, calm, friendly hotel, that offers great value, great staff, absolutely."

"Nice ocean view room . Clean and nice balcony . Minus points open view from bed to shower . Could do with a privacy screen and no night light so stairs in the room from toilet to bed were a hazard . Food excellent and live music on Saturday evening was really good . Stayed on HB basis for a week . Great that you can choose lunch or dinner to take the meal . Though every time when it came to billing had to remind staff on HB basis . Reception staff excellent . Very friendly and organised . Excellent location for sundowners and the beach ."

"The property is very nice, beautiful pools, gardens and beach. Staff is very helpful, but often slow (e.g. we waited 45 min for our luggage). The rooms could really use an update and they should work more on the cleanliness in the rooms (hate seeing hair on the floor or bed). The kids club is amazing, as well as the game village in the garden, could be there for days. Breakfast is OK."

"The larger 4-bed villa that I booked was lovely; we also saw the inside of a smaller 3-bed unit, and it looks like the 3-bed ones have had a bit of a refurb that hasn’t reached the 4-bed villa yet, but it was honestly lovely. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially our cleaner Marie, who was an absolute star. Would thoroughly recommend."
