「Fantastic room. Spacious. If I was being picky I’d say there could be shelving in the bathroom and bedside drawers in the bedroom but that’s not a major issue. The hot tub was lovely, however, having paid for seven nights use there was two days we couldn’t use it as it went cold and someone had to come and sort it out. 「For a 1* pension hotel the room I had as a solo traveller was superb ! Good sized room, sink, fridge, and balcony was just perfect. Also the property has clearly been renovated as everything appeared new and the common WC/ shower rooms are very modern with a very hot power shower. Raphael and Carlos keep the property spotlessly clean and do a great job. I highly recommend Pension Alcala, but its best to try and book a room with a balcony 」
