"Absolutely delightful stay (last week of April 2026). Self-checked, easy instructions, the place was ready for us. Super fast Wi-Fi, 50" smart TV, dishwasher, washing machine, electric hob+oven, comfortable beds, amazing pool all to ourselves (some people who live in the Oasis permanently thought we were mad to go in :-) A stone throw away from the famous popcorn beach (no, we didn't steal any :-) The hotel on the grounds is closed semi-permanently (awaiting new management to take over), so the grounds are empty, but maintained, the crew and security are quietly present. Not for you if you want party buzz on your doorstep, but for us it was a quiet paradise. There was a small tv/HD monitor in the bedroom, so I imagine, combined with great WiFi, this could be brilliant nest for someone who works remotely. Did I mention 3 terraces? Front, back, roof. Cannot fault the property on anything. Will go back in a heartbeat. "

"A very quiet location with view over open countryside to the hills beyond. Accommodation is more than adequate for two people. Clean and well equipped. Martin & Sue are pleasant and responsive hosts ready to help when needed.My favourite was the excellent pool which is always available. Martin & Sue only use the pool if you are away.Recommended for a peaceful location close to Lajares with lots of places to eat, yet only a few miles away from beaches in both directions."

"The villa is in a lovely peaceful location and is spacious and comfortable. The accommodation is rather unusual with studios, most with several beds and some containing more than one bedroom/ fridges and cooking facilities, arranged around a courtyard. There is a large and well equipped kitchen and large living room. The villa is showing some signs of wear and tear but we had an enjoyable holiday. "

"There aren’t any shops nearby l think you should highlight this on your website. The supermarket is als a 30min walk away. The bus stop is also a 15 min walk away. MAAR House is in a remote location but it’s lovely and peaceful and the facilities are good. Ursula the owner is very friendly and helpful !"
