It was a great experience to stay in a traditional Japanese home. My family and I loved the stay.

A very exciting, beautiful and authentic accommodation with incredibly friendly staff, daily change of towels, paper, water bottles and easy to contact with questions. The location of the accommodation is incredible, located in the middle of Gion with walking distance to everything! The house is large with two floors, its own small beautiful garden, large bathroom downstairs with bath tub made of wood and small bathroom upstairs next to the bedroom. The walls are made of some kind of sensitive clay and sand, tatami mats in the large rooms and a fresh modern toilet. The walls are thin which means that noise can easily be heard by the neighbours so you have to keep the conversation tone low and not make loud noises that can disturb the neighbours, it may be good to think about it. Futon beds are not something that suits everyone as they can be a bit hard to sleep on but we used several mattresses on top of each other so that it felt comfortable. We loved the accommodation and would love to come back again! We are very grateful for the hospitality of the staff and for our entire stay. Thank you very much

We parked our car in the designated parking space. Next morning, there was a car parked blocking our way out. A neighbor yelled at us saying this is his property and kept threatening us even we explained that is absolutely nothing to do with us. It was VERY upsetting and scary. We ended up getting a parking space elsewhere which costed us a lot.

Juste envie dy’ Retourner

Emplacement parfait , proche de Gion. Magnifique endroit. La maison est propre , salle de bain typique avec beaucoup de charme , et service hôtelier ( changement serviettes et ménage) Seul petit bémol, trop peu d’ustensiles pour cuisiner à la maison. Qu une seule poêle et qu une casserole .
