"We booked the morning of our stay and when we arrived they couldn't find the booking. We were given a room while it was sorted out. The room was large and light with balcony and stunning views of the dam. A few touches like water in the fridge would have been nice. Breakfast was very disappointing. With a few tweaks The Shore House could be fabulous."

It is a basic human need but yeah, no water in the area during our 3 days there. It ruined the weekend but the staff could not do much. Fault should be placed on the owners to make sufficient back up plans for their Paying staff. "Had an awesome time. The outlay of the premises along with the huge garden, courtyard and pool area is perfect for a getaway from the city. Quiet and peaceful with lovely birds and other wildlife in the area. My 3 kids throughly enjoyed themselves that they didn’t want to leave. Even the sleep you get there is different and peaceful. "The loft was cool. The main guest house was nice. The people were very helpful and very willing to help us in any way!! Not much to not like except for not having hot water for a short time before they got it fixed! We would certainly return to stay at this location again!"
