Leominster

"We had a lovely week in this ancient, but brilliantly renovated cottage. Clean, cosy, but spacious, with a lovely log burner. Nothing about it was poky, and although there was only one room downstairs it was modern, and open plan, and we felt that we had masses of space - a family of four, plus dogs ! Perfect, sheltered garden, wonderful views, and within 5 mins of Leominster, and Bromyard - not much further to Hereford and Ludlow, although we headed to the hills of Kington, and Offas Dyke. The Dragon Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed for one night on a work trip and had an absolutely excellent experience. The hotel was lovely, full of beautiful 17th-century features and charm. The quaint little town was absolutely picturesque, and the surrounding scenery was beautiful. I was really impressed with the area. Plenty of parking around the back of the hotel. My room was very spacious, and the breakfast was honestly the best I’ve had in a long time. The staff were all so friendly, pleasant and accommodating, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel, and it would definitely be my first choice if I’m visiting the area again. A real gem!"

Llangoed Hall

10/10 Excellent

"We were delighted to find we were staying in a stately home worthy of Downton Abbey. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Wonderful spaces for the guest with fireplaces and comfortable chairs in beautifully coordinated fabrics, as you'd expect from the previous home of Laura Ashleys family, (although subtley not massively floral). The restaurent was lovely and the food superb. Staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds and views over the Brecon Beacons was lovely, with lots of pubs nearby, and other restaurents in nearby Brecon. Our room had a confortable 4 poster bed and lovely ensuite with a seperate shower and Bath, and a great view. It was one floor up and the stairs were wide and not steep so I managed with my stick. We were able to park right out the front door in the big turning circle. Overall it could not have been better!"

The Talbot Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Well where do I start, the staff were excellent as they were so helpful, caring and very friendly. The hotel had a great atmosphere and the food was excellent as well as being very tasty. Being treated by the cat was lovely as it was so friendly and waited for us at the top of the stairs when we came to our room. So much looking at planning to go back for another visit."
