"Always love the ambience of staying here. I stay here at least once a year. I love the beautiful decor. And al though the rooms are small, they are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is conveniently located on the property but I venture out in the area for breakfast. Staff is always friendly and helpful "

There was not enough parking across the way & we didn’t feel like we could leave when we did find a place to park or we wouldn’t get another place when we came back. Our room was nice & the breakfast buffet was good. The vending machine on 5th floor did not work."

"The room as advertised indicated it slept 5. This is false. With the way the photos looked, it appeared the room had a twin sleeper. The room fit 5, but we had to get an air mattress to make it work. The air mattress deflated in the middle of the night. So, if you have 5 people, be prepared to sleep on the floor. Otherwise, property is nice and clean."

"We stayed at this newly remodeled home for a college reunion/Drake Relays. It is very close to Drake’s campus and local restaurants. The photos on the website match exactly what you get! The beds were all VERY comfortable, the house was immaculate and it had all we needed. The owners were also very friendly and provided clear communications and fast responses to questions that popped up. If you are looking for a stay in Des Moines (especially for anything at Drake) you should book this rental. We plan to be back when we return for a future reunion!"
