My family has been vacationing at the Outer Banks for at least a decade. We've stayed in multiple houses and, while each house has its unique features and charms, Fun in the Sun is by far the best property I've encountered. The house is exceptional, featuring many amenities and a prime location. Fun in the Sun is located in the Schooner Ridge neighborhood of Duck. That means that you are in the heart of Duck and a short bike ride or walk to the beach, the sound, shops, restaurants and the boardwalk.
In addition, Schooner Ridge offers multiple amenities including an oceanfront outdoor pool and a community center with a gym, indoor and outdoor pool. The house itself is magnificent. Decks for days, a pool and hot tub, 8 incredible bedrooms, a wonderful kitchen and living area on the top floor plus a spacious living area on the bottom floor. In addition, the owner is incredibly gracious, ensuring that your visit meets/ exceeds your expectations. I took this trip with family and friends following a year of significant transitions and this was just what I needed.
