Summary:
The Saltaire Cottages are a set of quaint, semi-ocean front properties in Kitty Hawk, NC. This landmark has been welcoming families to the Outer Banks for over 50 years! This cottage has a kitchen and comes equipped to be your home away from home! Our private beach access is directly across the street and a beautiful pool with elevated sun decks is on site. Each unit has heat/air, TV's, stove/oven, microwave, Keurig, toaster, pots/pans, dishes and silverware

The Space:
Newly renovated studio with kitchen and king bed! This cozy cottage offers all the amenities and the comfort of home in a beautiful and peaceful environment. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. There is a 55 inch flat screen smart TV, a full refrigerator, coffee maker and more! Come check it out!

Although the room was clean, the bathroom was so tiny. There was no place to hang towels (which we were only given 2 in total for a 4 day trip-I did have to reach out on day 3 for clean towels and the manager was very attentive and immediately brought us some). The exterior and pool area of the property are need of some love. As a VRBO property I don’t think a tip envelope should be put out when there is a hefty cleaning service through VRBO and we were responsible to even put the trash out. Nice location across the street from the beach.

The property is in a great location close to the beach. The overall property i would describe as tried and needs some work. The bathroom door would not close and the bathroom light would go off and on by itself. The pool had tiles missing on the sides and the bottom had many locations where the surface was peeling and missing paint. With all that said we would not able to use our code at check in and Amanda called and got us in to the property. She was very helpful and friendly. Bottom line we still enjoyed our stay, with a little love this would be a great place to stay.
