The hike from Torshavn to the old bishopric and royal residence where the Norwegian King Sverre grew up, takes a few hours. In the Middle Ages Kyrkjebo was the cultural and religious center in the Faroe Islands. The old log house is told to be Europe’s oldest timber building, around 900 years old. 中心街からタクシーで5分位離れた山の上にあるホテルですが5スター並みのホテルでホテルで食事も 美味しく仕事の後でリラックスしたいビジネス客に最適、部屋から街並みが綺麗に観えて最高です。また泊まりたいです。

街の中心部からは徒歩だと距離ありますが、レンタカーだと問題無しです。 朝食はとても良いです。 またフロントの方は親切ですし、お弁当も用意してくれました。 自分で利用出来るコインランドリーがあれば更に良かったです。

Great location in the middle of the centre. And room was big with a shelf and a desk. There is no shower (bidet sprey is used as shower), no kitchen( there were some equipments downstairs ) but if you are ok with it, it’s fine. I still enjoyed the convenience of the location.
