Nice hotel, very pleasant and hospitable staff. From the front desk to the restaurant staff they were all very helpful in getting us situated. We had a very nice dinner and the Christmas tea cocktail suggestion was spot on after a cold day.

Great sleep and dining at hotel Klaustur!

Short but sweet overnight stay in Kirkubaejarklaustur. I enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant even with my late arrival, and had a very restful evening. The complimentary breakfast in the sun room was wonderful!

This hotel is located in a beautiful location, with Iceland's splendors all around and visible from all windows. It was clean, well organized and with very friendly and helpful staff. The room and bed were both comfortable.

The hotel is very attractive and clean. The staff were extremely helpful and efficient. The room was comfortable and a good size. Two small peeves were that there is only one light in the bathroom, making it rather too dim for makeup purposes, and we could only get warm/tepid water from the shower, not hot. As a person with dietary restrictions, I'd Also like to have seen more vegan/gluten free options, particularly for breakfast. Nevertheless, a good hotel that we would recommend.
