Stayed here so we could go to the Royal Welsh Show. Very quiet location ,only sounds were the stream and the sheep. Accommodation had everything we needed for a few days away.
We would definitely stay here again
Stayed 2 nights whilst working at the Royal Welsh Show. Didn't get to spend a lot of time at the property but it was warm, comfortable and peaceful. The views to the back are beautiful and there were a few lovely places to sit outside. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend!
A lovely quiet place with sheep and birds as neighbours. Great location to explore historical sites, walks, pubs. Very happy with the sleeping accommodation too. Thanks Danielle!
Property was a delight. Clean comfortable and well equipped and perfectly located to explore the area. Danielle was friendly, helpful and on hand to deal with any issues if required.
What a hidden gem.
A gorgeous, well thought out lodge/apartment, finished to a really high standard with some fabulous little touches that made it like home away from home.
Spotlessly clean, and everything you needed for a short (or long) break.
Possibly the best nights sleep I've had a long time, super comfy bed and bedding, lovely powerful shower and gorgeous setting.
We made use of the outdoor seating areas, both in the garden/courtyard and down by the stream - absolute heaven sitting and listening to the bird song, watching the buzzards and kites and sheep in the field opposite.
Excellent base for exploring Hay-on-Wye, Hereford, Monmouth etc and we will most definitely be back.
Our host was just lovely, welcomed is in arrival and saw us off as we left - even left us with milk for teas and coffees.
Genuinely can't wait to come back, wish we had been able to stay longer
Comfy bed , good shower, kitchen good , comfy sofa and table to eat of. Couldn’t workout the TV we had breakfast outside ! And a glass of wine by the stream lovely
The property was beautifully decorated and Danielle was great with her communications, directions were very helpful. I stayed as a base for the Hay festival and enjoyed the peace and quiet. It had a lovely outside area and comfy bed. Everything you might need was provided and the hosts were on hand but not intrusive.
Good parking, enjoyed the outside space, well kitted out property. Walking distance to Kington which has several pubs, cafes, restaurants, takeaways, supermarket and bakery
Very much enjoyed a few days visit to Hay on Wye, Kington and Hergest Ridge and this really lovely, comfortable and welcoming accommodation was the perfect place for accessing all of them. It was also very good value. Thank you.
Really charming stay and the hike the next day was nothing short of perfect. Found a beautiful little spot for a picnic. Thanks for the tips on where to go Danielle :)
Very well maintained cottage, spotlessly clean in a really lovely and peaceful location. Beautiful views with relaxing outside seats. Only sorry we were only staying one night.
We had a wonderful, relaxing few days here and Danielle was the perfect host. Gorgeous setting and lovely decor- and she had thought of every little touch to make our stay comfortable.
