Very friendly staff who made us most welcome. The meals were excellent. particularly breakfast. The bar was kept open, at our request, on Sunday evening so we could meet the family of the deceased before the funeral. A very important and emotional gathering of old friends.

We booked very last minute, due to an unforeseen problem with our holiday cottage. When we arrived it was literally 5 mis before they stopped serving food BUT the chap said I'll go and ask the chef .,. He did and we enjoyed a very hearty excellent steak and ale pie each. Absolutely delicious, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast cooked to order and v attentive staff throughout.

Really friendly staff (especially the breakfast lady!) and a great location. I probably should have researched first to spot live music on Friday and Saturday evenings. That wasn’t that much of an issue as over by 22.30 (both bands were pretty good to be fair) but the rowdy hen party on Saturday kept us awake long after the band had finished.

Lovely location and the Inn is in a lovely setting. Plenty of parking, clean, comfortable room and lovely breakfast.

Lovely family run B&B, everyone was so friendly and attentive nothing was to much trouble, food was excellent and good value. Would recommend and We will be staying again next time we are in the are.

If you want a quiet, friendly local inn then this is the place. Located in a picturesque hamlet it offers comfortable rooms, both clean and spacious enough; breakfast was excellent and the bar is very welcoming. I really enjoyed our 2 day stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Had a steak in the evening it was lovely, I wasn't very impressed with the breakfast, no brown bread offered sourdough, but it just looked like a chunk of white bread, didn't eat. sausages were burnt, mushrooms, tomato and egg was nice.

Overall, a good stay. Friendly staff and good food. There is a weird, quite load humming/droning noise outside room 2 which would benefit investigation as it was quite annoying when trying to sleep.
