Cherry Cottage is a beautiful cottage built a few years ago but maintaining many traditional cottage style characteristics. Sleeping 8 in 4 large sized bedrooms this idyllic cottage is located in a charming courtyard on a development of similar mews properties, spoilt by breath-taking vast open grounds all available on your doorstep in the heart of the South Hams. Positioned in the countryside and located just 2 miles away from Slapton Sands this holiday destination has all to offer, with the beach just a short distance away and a vast amount of countryside to explore.
Ground floor
Living room three large comfortable sofas divided around the room and a large Freeview TV benefiting from a DVD player, table and 2 chairs, this pleasant room allows for many evenings after long days exploring the South West a base to unwind in as a family.
Kitchen/dining area fully equipped kitchen with everything to offer containing an electric oven with a 4 ring hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer machine, microwave and plenty of quality kitchen utensils. There is a small Freeview TV and a large wooden dining table comfortably seating 8 overlooking the courtyard.
Downstairs cloakroom WC & Sink
Master bedroom features a King-size bed, a wooden wardrobe and chest of drawers. This room could easily fit a travel cot if you are wanting to travel with little ones. It has a separate en-suite with a power shower, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2 contains a double bed, a shower & sink and plenty of storage. This bedroom is well suited to another couple.
Bedroom 3 has 2 twin beds this is a lovely room to wake up to and gaze at the flowers blossoming in the yard. This bedroom also includes a separate wash hand basin.
Bedroom 4 has full size bunk beds. It has a wardrobe and bedside storage this makes a lovely additional room for children, teenagers or adults to appreciate.
Family bathroom contains a bath with power shower over the top, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Outside Space The 1.5 acre grounds offer a safe haven for children to run around and explore, there is a climbing frame which provides hours of entertainment as well as much loved wildlife. There is a large graceful spring water duck pond with ducks and chickens roaming freely. This is a splendid sanctuary to relax and unwind in whilst reading a book or sunbathing in sun trapped grounds. The grounds also offer a large BBQ with seating area.
Parking is provided for 2 cars within the development and there is further parking behind Buckland House Stables. Once inside the property there is a detailed map explaining where cars can be parked for every guests convenience.
Power and Heat: Gas and electricity are included.
Bed Linen and Towels: Bed linen and towels are provided (please bring your own beach towels)
Shop: 1.5 miles Pub: 1.5 miles
Notes - Minimum 3 nights stay. No Smoking. Pets are welcome on leads whilst in the grounds. WiFi Provided. Please supervise children around the pond on the grounds.
This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £350, which is payable to with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
