"The location is conveniently across from Nagano Train Station and bus terminal, so it is close to shops, restaurants and transportation. The inn has a nice public bath with an open-aired bath, and has complimentary ramen for night snack. The staffs were all very polite and helpful which made me feel very welcoming. I would love to stay in Dormy Inn again when I visit Nagano in the future. "

"Staff was amazing but compared to other Mercure hotels this one is very outdated (a lot of furniture was outside so they may be renovating) but wallpaper was peeling, there were marks on the walls and carpet where paintings/furniture used to be) and the beds we had were hard as rocks. As were the pillows. That said the staff and food were exceptional"

"My husband and I stayed 1 night at this hotel. The check-in was simple and the staff was friendly and helpful. We speak very little Japanese and there was no problem. We were offered the opportunity to change our room, but declined and stayed in the standard double room. This room is very small but was okay for us for one night. It would be challenging for those with more/larger luggage than the two small carry-on sized pieces we had. Those with full sized luggage should get a larger room (over 18 meters squared). The room was a bit dated but clean. It was reasonable given the price. The hotel offered a good amount of amenities for those needing toothbrushes, razors, tea etc. We just needed coffee which they had. We didn't have breakfast. We didn't need parking. It is close by the train station for easy access to transportation and there was a convenience store within 100ft/50meters. The hotel allowed us to leave our bags with them while we explored after check out. Overall a great, basic accommodation at a reasonable price. "

"It is close to the Nagano station and 7-Eleven. It also has a nice shared hot bath pool and coin laundry to wash and drying shoes clothes."
