Courteous, helpful front desk staff. Cute courtyard to sit and eat. Mostly a non smoking environment. BUT, the bathroom had NO door and the room stayed bright even late at night.

Lots of potential but in a bad condition

I think the photos need to by updated. I can see it was a beautiful place long ago, but it needs a lot of work. There was a hole in the roof,mould coming through the roof, aircon.... A lot of stuff was broken but working...it didn't look good.

On arrival receptionist could not find room keys or remote for gate. Considering the price I would expect breakfast to be included. Upon check out the receptionist was very unfriendly. Will definitely not return.

The first room I was in, the wooden sliding door was off the rail. It was placed on top of the rail. I didn't notice and eventually twhen I.went to the bathroom to take a shower, the door oppled over and the glass broke. It was shocking.

Wifi not functional, Air-conditioner not functional, moved to another room .Although aircon working - no hot water in shower. No double plug available to charge phones , no curtain or blinds in bathroom.. Received 250ml milk on arrival - however sour . Staff was made aware of wifi not working as well as aircon, however I needed to follow up twice after which I was transferred to 2nd room with issues as named above. Unfortunately not a pleasant stay.

Historic yet modern

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Enjoyed the fact that there is 3 restaurants very close by one can easily walk. I love the history of the building and the modern finishes in the rooms.

Very comfortable Hotel although you would need to travel to a local watering hole if you wanted a cold beer. Wifi sadly a little bit unreliable

Very noisy

The walls seem to be paper thin. Our double doors faced the pool. The major problem was the roudy crowd practicing their singing until almost midnight. Was about to create havoc when knocking was heard & the choir ended. Not much rest. Dissapointing, since the room was tastefull and clean

Well if it was not for the dirty drain pushing up in the bathroom ,the room that was not ready, and the bedding that has holes in .I will not be using this place again
