Rooms not as bright as pictures, but comfy beds

Excellent location for one night, fabulous restaurant inside the building “salted egg” and rooftop bar was also great. I like that we were not in Melbourne for long and were able to have a convenient stay here where we didn’t have to leave the building after dark after a long day exploring. Can’t speak highly enough of the restaurant, absolutely fantastic food and service. The only thing that bothered us was the temperature control in the room not being individualised and seemed centrally controlled. Our room was small and was quite stuffy/hot even though we had the air system on and turned down low.

“Beautiful entrance and lobby area, however the bedrooms were quite average overall. Unfortunately, the maid service was disappointing, as the rooms did not appear to be cleaned properly. We stayed at the InterContinental previously, and in comparison it far exceeded The Savoy in both service and overall experience.”
