Beautiful ocean front studio with king size bed and full on-suite to include soaking tub for two. Includes cable TV, WIFI, refrigerator, and Keurig coffee maker. Direct beach access, from your door to the beach in less then 150 feet! Outdoor shower to remove your day of fun in the sand.

****NEW**** Our property now features a HVAC Ultraviolet (UV-C) air cleaning system. UV-C has been proven to kill mold, mildew, bacteria and viruses to include Covid19.

Stay includes One FREE breakfast for two at the Jolly Roger Restaurant.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Kill Devil Hills. The owner/manager Joe and his wife were very responsive to our requests and went above and beyond in their hospitality. The place is right on the beach and decor inside gave it a great beach vibe. We will definitely be back there next time we’re in the Outer Banks!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean. The location was close to restaurants and shopping. Our hosts were very freindly. The beach was beautiful.

I have returned to this rental 3 times because it is just the perfect location, the accommodations are everything I need and more with the deck overlooking the water. It is quiet and relaxing. I will be back!!

Beautiful Kill Devil Hills location

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The room was very cute and clean. We were greeted with a nice bottle of wine and free breakfast vouchers at an awesome restaurant called The Jolly Roger. -( I highly recommend) The room does not have a direct view of the ocean but that was fine as the deck in the dunes is a truly wonderful place for morning coffee by the beach. We loved the location, the place and the beach is absolutely beautiful.

Great Mini Vacay

This place was just as advertised!!! From booking to arrival to departure it was all a breeze! The complimentary breakfast was awesome at Jolly Rogers and we actually ate at the restaurant quite a few times! And the bloody Mary’s are amazing!!! The owners of the place we stayed actually own that restaurant! Lots of restaurants/bars to choose from very near by. The access to the beach was great!!! And Joe was so very friendly! Highly recommend this place for a vacation getaway!

Overall nice little joint. Two people was great size for us. Didn’t spend much in the room any how. Beach access was right there along with the 4wheel access to beach as well

Great location and excellent access to the beach

The property is as described, we loved the location and spent a lot of time at the beach. There is some vegetation growing over the dunes that the private boardwalk leads to but we could easily walk a few minutes to another beach access point. Joe was very welcoming and left us a bottle of wine and a card that’s good for a free breakfast at Jolly Rogers.

Beach

If you are looking for easy beach access this is perfect. Quiet room always cool has fridge, coffee crups and microwave for quick easy meals or leftovers from their restaurant or others. Bit outdated but beach is a plus. Coral and Joe were awesome. Would recommend as long as you don’t want to hang around in your room.

Relaxing Getaway

The "apartment" was very clean. It could use some modern updating though. Beach access is right there. Only issue really is that the access to the beach is being taken over by weeds and grass. Made it not easily accessible. I would recommend maybe clearing a path to make it easier for guests to access.

Cottage was fine

Cottage was basically a 1-one apt. Very adequate for our stay. Huge tub, small fridge, microwave, Keurig, small table w/ chairs. Tub & lavatory had a small amt of hair in them.... could have been cleaner, but, overall, nice place to stay. Enjoyed the beach rt behind us. Nice location! Nice host who provided complimentary gifts. Would stay there again.

This was a special getaway for us to enjoy the beach. The rental was right on the beach with a sitting area over looking the beach. We loved that. There was a little trouble with communication at first to find out the check in process and then we found out that the husband had been in an accident and that's why we didn't get information. The location was central to many things and we explored the entire outerbanks area. It was drivable from Corolla to Hatteras. The road out front is busy and a little difficult to back out of. Over-all it was a good stay.

get away

the little studio was quaint well furnished and bed very comfie. the pictures led us to believe our studio would be ON the beach hearing the waves enjoying the view but it wasnt. it faced away from the ocean unto the main street hearing the cars n trucks passing by. the deck was fine but the propriety really needs a good lawn care do over. the owners left us a nice bottle of wine with chocolates and a complimentary breakfast. sweet!! they have a dog but he was not a barker n the owners live on the propriety.

OBX trip

If you are a person with any mobility issues, this property is not for you. The picture of the deck is misleading. It is off the back of the house of the owners residence. No privacy for the guests. The general appearance of this prperty is "unkept". Needs some cleanup of clutter and repair. Ceiling light had two bulbs not working. We bought light bulbs but it was not just the bulbs. Needs replaced. Pole light also had a bulb fixture that did not work. Large jacuzzi tub needs replaced. Doesn't work. Communication was not acceptable. I texted and called without any reply. I just had to go to the residence and see if i could talk with someone there. There was a note at the bottom of the steps with instructions about key and check-in information. I also called VRBO and they could not get a response. Positive things about this residence was the bed was comfortable and the house is directly on the beach. The owner gave us a free breakfast and a bottle of wine. The location to the community was perfect. Easy access to restaurants and shopping. The OB residents in this community were extremely friendly and helpful.
