Swim, lounge, and snorkel at the fabulous Mana Kai Maui Resort, the jewel at the end of one of Maui’s best beaches! The Mana Kai Maui Resort uniquely offers all the advantages of a condo vacation, but with the added amenities of a resort hotel. Choose from condominium or hotel-style accommodations. The condominiums include one and two-bedroom suites, complete with well-equipped kitchens and private lanais. In-room safes and free high-speed WiFi access are also available.

Comfortable hotel-style suites with full baths are also available just steps away from the ocean. You'll also have access to two gas grills and laundry facilities available on the property. While our amenities do not include poolside towel service, our condo and hotel suites are equipped with beach towels for use at the pool and beach. Take advantage of the resort atmosphere with special features including free parking, a pool, open air dining with lounge, yoga classes with Maui Yoga Path, a fitness center, an activities center, a gift shop, a general store, a business center with computers, and conference/meeting facilities.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). We had a fantastic stay here. Great location and nice ocean view. Although the apartment itself is a bit dated, it was all very clean and offered everything that we could’ve needed. Snorkeling close by was a big plus. Would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed at the Mana Kai 25 years ago on our honeymoon and returned to celebrate our anniversary. Absolutely love the location and feel of this resort. The beach is great for swimming and snorkeling and the grounds are clean and beautiful. The room was great, nice kitchen with everything we needed and very comfortable bed! We will be back!

Fantastic views, clean space and all we needed. Plenty of kitchen items to do whatever you needed. Loved the location. A little dated, but not an issue for us and you really don’t spend time inside because of all the awesome views! Loved that you could get chairs for free and the general store was excellent.

The unit was just fine and served our needs. It’s a bit dated and shows wear and tear, but it was fine. The location is awesome. Access to the beach and the ability to rent paddle boards downstairs was perfect!

This location can’t be beat. We swam at the beach every day. The condo has every thing you need and is well stocked. We liked the store in the lobby and the view!!! It is older and showing some wear. It is not fancy but it meets all your needs,

I loved that we were able to open the glass door to the balcony and close the screen in order to hear the waves all night long. It was so soothing. The view from the condo was amazing as well. Walking distance to food and bars and shopping was also great.

The location of the room was fantastic! There used to be a restaurant, but not right now. The unit was fine and had everything we needed. Would recommend replacing lanai furniture, and bathroom door.

The greatest weakness is - was - the communication for a first time user. I arrived after hours ( unexpectedly) - I had to figure things out . Annoying after 25 hours of travel and delays and countless other “problems).

We enjoyed our stay in the Ocean front condo on the beach at Mana Kai. Check in via Vacasa was a little confusing as the national office said they emailed us with the check in door code but nothing about the code was in the email. Only when we texted did we get a lovely response from the local Vacasa representative with the check in code Unit is a bit worn with no updates in many years. Furniture on the Lanai should be thrown out as the glass table top was fractured in several places and chairs were very worn. Two beach chairs were functional but so old that carry straps were worn through. All told we enjoyed the location and view. Local Vacasa representative was very responsive to our needs.

Hard to find a better location than the Mana Kai. We come every year and have booked through Vacasa before. This booking was a last minute extension and so we were not choosy... just happy to have a place to extend a couple of days in paradise. That said - the condo needs an update for sure. It's all original I think. I didn't mind it as it was cute and bright. But for Mana Kai prices, I think it needs an overhaul. Everything was just a bit rickety... the bathroom door had cracks and scuffs, The screen door to the patio got stuck. The sliding door to the main bdrm got stuck. The deck furniture was uncomfortable and old. And the carpet definitely showed its age. But honestly - if it was cheaper it would be great.... and for those who just want the Mana Kai it's totally fine.

In future, you might remove the unusabe lamps, boxes of paint, extra deck chairs, vacumn cleaner box etc. I have rearranged the closets, so as to more space for our personal things. Perhaps clean out necessary items from underneath the kitchen sink. Otherwise the unit was pretty clean, but it would be nice to have a spray bottle of cleaner like vinigar and water, to clean the deck furniture, tables, toilet, sinks etc. 3.5 weeks is a long time without these items. The unit itself is a bit outdated and there were definite signs of ware and tear, especially in the bathroom. But the view/location/grounds make up for that. They keep this property in tip to shape and you can’t beat the view and having the beach right outside your door. I will say they are very strict about keeping sand and water out of the lobby and pool bathrooms, and I was always stressed every time I took my kids to the bathroom that we were going to get in trouble for not being dry enough (despite my best efforts, staff told us we weren’t dry enough maybe 3 or 4 times). That being said, the views and location were so good that I would probably go back.
