"My husband and I had a great stay at Maui Hill. The condo we had is very spacious and has a great view of the ocean. It is a little dated and so, there is a little bit of "old" smell (not a moldy smell) when we first came in but as soon as we open all the windows and let the sea breeze in, then it's fine. This condo is like a home away from home. It has everything you need in the kitchen and has washer and dryer. Having 2 full bathrooms is not bad either. It also has an air condition in the living room and the bedroom but we did not use it as we preferred the fresh air. "

"Loved my stay at this property. I would definitely stay here again. Friendly staff and property was gorgeous! I actually loved the accommodations. We had the fortunate experience of seeing sea turtles down the beach from the property. Safe and affordable. We had a water alarm go off during our stay under the bathroom vanity next to the kitchen. I called maintenance and they responded promptly to my voice message. Maintenance made sure to come back to check in on the issue. My only feedback was the cleanliness of the room when we arrived and the washing machine. There was a chocolate candy bar on the floor under the kitchen cabinet and also a chocolate cookie in the cabinet where the trash was. These things of course do happen but good to give a once over in the kitchen area before new tenants arrive to avoid roaches or ants. We did not realize the washer didn’t work until after I purchased laundry detergent and towards the end of the trip. Maybe the water was turned off due to the other issue? Not the worst thing and I did not report it I’m sure if I had, it would have been resolved. This is truly a family friendly condo association and if you have a vehicle, it is close to everything you need/want. I would recommend Maui Sunsets to any family traveling. Thank you Maui Sunset! "

"This hotel is a total gem. It's a rare adults-only property in Hawaii, and the amenities are everything you need, nothing you don't. The bar is perfect, the restaurant is great (especially for breakfast or a celebratory dinner), and the pool bar is first rate. Best Mai Tai we had in Maui! If you prefer boutique hotels and want a quiet experience with a lovely suite, look no further!"
