I was a little turned off Unwind when I first arrived but the place grew on me. When we walked into the lobby we were hit with a strong smell of air freshener. Our room had dark curtains drawn and the A/C made a high-pitched noise. Once we opened the curtains and the windows and turned off the air conditioning, we felt a little better and the annoying noise eventually went away. The large staff was very nice and helpful throughout our stay. I had a cold and they gave me honey and lemon at breakfast and at the bar. One night the bartender went to great trouble to fix a cup of hot honey-sweetened lemonade for me. It was very soothing for my sore throat. Breakfast was in a large, pleasant room with stained glass windows and lots of light. the meal came on a three-tiered platter and included a mix of Western and local specialties, including mini scones and omelets, potatoes, soup and vegetables. They accommodated my dairy-free diet. In all, we felt pampered and taken care of and were truly able to unwind. The location was convenient, a 10-minute walk from the train station and just a few minutes from the canals, art museums and restaurants.

We stayed here as a family, and overall it was a good experience with a few things to note. The room itself was very spacious definitely a big plus for families. There was plenty of sleeping space, which made everyone comfortable, though I do think the pillows could be improved for a better night’s sleep. I also wish there had been a larger table and more seating to better accommodate a family. Cleanliness was okay, but could use some improvement. I’m a bit particular when it comes to cleaning, and I did feel the need to wipe down surfaces myself with disinfectant wipes. That said, the staff truly stood out they were amazing. Check-in was smooth, and anytime we needed something, they were quick, helpful, and very accommodating. Hands down one of the best parts of our stay. The hotel itself is family-friendly in terms of room space and layout. However, the surrounding area may not feel as family-oriented. There are quite a few clubs nearby, and it gives off a bit of a red-light district vibe at night. If that doesn’t bother you, the location is actually very convenient right in the heart of downtown with plenty to do and see. Overall, a solid stay thanks to the space and incredible staff, with a few areas that could be improved.

the location is excellent. We drive and can park the car downstairs. There is a very nice Starbucks house just 3 mins walk away. Within 10 mins walk you can find a very nice shopping mall (MaxValu Maruyama Class Store). The flat is spacious and sufficient for six of us. Two bathrooms are a valid advantage. The obly comment is the kitchen ware is highly insufficient for cooking. Also please add a coffee machine there will be nice.

Top notch, incredible hospitality and food. Kind and professional staff, we felt taken care of from check in to check out. Exceptional experience.
