⭐ 1/5 – Very Disappointing Experience, Not Worth the Money! We stayed at this hotel near Times Square for two nights and spent almost $800, including taxes and food. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. The room was very small, the bathroom was tiny, and the elevators were extremely small and slow. We often had to wait around 15 minutes just to get an elevator, which was very frustrating. For the amount of money we paid, we expected much better facilities, comfort, and service. The overall experience did not justify the price at all. Very poor value for money. I would not recommend this hotel, especially at these prices. Definitely not worth $800 for two nights!

Good

My room had great views and was clean and fun.

Charming, well generally well preserved historic property with cheerful staff who regularly ask if there is anything they can do to make your stay more enjoyable. There are some basics missing at this price point - e.g. a place to charge your phone, a little more lighting in the bathroom (makeup?), bedside tables on each side of a King bed (of some sort) We also returned to our room after a light rain and found a puddle on the entryway inside our room with water dripping from a vent on the ceiling. (Staff was very helpful but we got the impression that it had happened before - maybe an issue with AC condensate) Also, beware, this is a popular event space and both nights of our stay the lovely room at the rear (with the bar) was booked for private events. Several other charming sitting rooms and a pub that were available to us instead.

Clean, close to the subway
