"Overall, it was satisfactory for staying a night. The twin room was cozy with wide two soft beds and a balcony, which was great for having morning tea. 5 min. walk from the Towada Lake, JR bus station. Owner & Owner's family was so kind and considerate that I would like to visit again. "

"Hostel was not at the location provided in listing but 1.1 km away from the lake. Self-check in was fin but hostel was run down with many lights not working, cobwebs in hallways. Rooms were booked with private bathrooms but there was no private bathrooms. Bathrooms were communal and there was no shower just sinks with buckets. Sheets were clean but rooms had broken a/c, smelled of fumigation but there were still bugs, broken drawers and lights. It was the worst hostel I have stayed in. We booked...
