The room was fantastic. We loved it. The beds were so comfortable and the view was so beautiful. We used the onsen and it was magical because we had a full moon. The bath products they have for the guests and the onsen user are the best smelling shampoo, conditioner and body wash i have ever used in my 51 years. Beautiful property with pool and garden. Staff was kind. Room was spacious and clean with private indoor and outdoor bath. Amazing stay overall. Highly recommend. We will be back again in the future.

A perfect location to end my Japan trip. Hotel is right on the beach. Every rooms are either face the ocean or Mountain View. And the room was very spacious.

Absolutely lovely. Felt like I was staying with family. Quick walk to the gorgeous beach, next to a beautiful shrine, and a short walk from a delicious Ramen place. Not to mention the Onsen!!! What a magical experience it was to enjoy the outdoors and soak. And last but not least the breakfast! Felt like my mom made me lunch for the day. Absolutely would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

This resort was one of the best parts of our trip to Japan. Coming from the USA, we wanted to enjoy a traditional accommodation. This resort had everything we were looking for: Japanese style room, bedrock sauna, private onsen bath, gendered public onsen bath and an onsen pool. Maybe the best hotel experience I've ever had. Room was amazing, with an onsen overlooking the sea. Shared onsens also available at the property were fantastic and provided a moonlit soak in a secluded grove. The staff was the picture of hospitality - warm, accommodating, and endlessly helpful. Dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Will be back for sure.

Clean, comfortable room in a quiet area near a beautiful beach. A great place to relax outside the city center. Highly recommended.

We really liked the outdoor hot spring, closeness to the Shirahama Beach, and the free shuttle service from and to the Shimoda station. We loved the dinner, too.

The staff at this hotel are super kind and helpful. The English speakers are few so if you do not speak Japanese just have your translate app handy to help them and yourself. We were a little sad the pool was closed and not maintained but the room was very authentic and really fun to stay in. It was the traditional experience we were looking for and the private onsen in room was wonderful to relax in.
