"Breakfast included vanilla yogurt, granola, bananas, apples, and other cooked items that I did not try. Gym was decent. They have treadmills, rowing erg, a bench, and dumbells. Front desk staff were usually really helpful."

"The room itself was near and clean. The problem was the bar directly below the room, which had loud music until fairly late, and the apparent apartment above the room with the fairly regular thumping and bumping. "

"It has long been a dream of mine to stay at the Chateau Laurier and it did not disappoint. Fantastic hotel, attentive staff, beautiful location. Would absolutely recommend to anyone travelling to Ottawa."

"I arrived early and the staff was able to give me an early check in. The room was clean and spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. The hotel was clean, the decor is a bit dated and in a few instances, I found minor cosmetic issues that needed repair such as missing tiles on the wall around the elevator. Different areas of the hotel had a smell to them that I didn’t care for. I’m not sure if it was carpet deodorizer or a room freshener devise. I made use of their gym which had an about a dozen cardio machines, (treadmill, bike, elliptical and even a recumbent bike) free weights, and a few weight machines. More than adequate for a workout away from home and the gym is open 24-7. Overall a great experience. "
