Kevin, our host went above and beyond. Recommend to anyone wanting serenity in the middle of the Kyoto bustle.

Excellent for a theme-park hotel and perfectly designed for families. Clean and spacious rooms with lovely views. Rooms, facilities and staff were all excellent. Downside: Stick to the standard buffet breakfast downstairs, as the "premium" buffet was really not worth it, in terms of variety and quality. We did not try the buffet dinner because of this impression from breakfast.

The staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs. They went out of their way for us. The room was spacious with laundry and kitchen area. Shower was powerful and beds comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

This spa hotel was very different from western hotels. Our room was like an apartment with a huge outdoor space with an outdoor sauna, pool- onsen, shower, lounge area, and covered dining area. Inside there was another pool/tub - onsen, dining area, TV area, karaoke machine, and two large - queen beds. The staff spoke little English, but used a translation App to help us. Breakfast was very nice served in our room. There was also a massage chair!

The toilet left an odd smell in the room. Washing machine was buggy. Construction going on outside. 10am check out is a big aggressive, but I guess if that’s normal it’s fine, but getting 3 door knocks in 5 minutes and a fee threat seems unnecessary. Just an average hotel at best.
