"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). "We had a great stay here - house was beautiful and well equipped and the remoteness and private pool were great for a relaxing stay in Crete. While you are about 20 mins outside of Chania it served as a good base for all of the western beaches and attractions while still close enough to Chania for dinners and exploring.
