You won't find a better location at Kuilima. Our lovely ground floor unit is on the desirable 'East Side', right at the 18th hole. Out of the 330 condos here at Turtle Bay Kuilima, our condo is set closest to the beach, so we know you will find the location to be ideal.

Turtle Bay Resort is just a 2 minute walk. There you will find the perfect kid friendly beach for swimming and snorkeling all year round, even when the waves are huge here on the North Shore. A favorite for many is to watch the sunset at the resort, as there is a really great surf break right in front of the bar. Enjoy a cocktail and Pu Pu's while watching surfers catch perfect waves as the sunsets. This is a true Hawaiian experience in every way.

We also have miles of hiking trails, horseback riding, scooter/bike rentals, helicopter rides, kayaking, surf lessons, tide pools, fruit stands, shrimp farms, surf competitions at Banzai Pipeline, and seven miles of the worlds best surfing beaches.

Good base for north shore explorations

The condo is located within a gated community adjacent to Turtle Bay resort/hotel. Simple but clean and well-stocked. Approximate 10 minute walk to the beach/cove adjacent to the hotel. The hotel has a coffee shop and restaurants and Lei Leis bar and grill is located on the gold course/5 minute walk away but there's not much else within walking distance. Good base for exploring the north shore with easy and frequent bus access from other parts of the island.

Great stay at Kuilima

We had an amazing time, it was very clean and very well equipped with everything we could possibly need on our North Shore stay. Beverly is such a nice person and always ready to help. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location for all of our needs. House accommodations were great and the water sports/beach gear provided was a bonus. Amazing view from patio of golf course.

Amazing Getaway!

We came for a family member’s wedding at Turtle Bay. The location was perfect, like 2 minutes away. The condo was so convenient. Check in was super easy and Beverly was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to the island.

The best beach is only a few minutes walk away!

We had an amazing time staying at this place. There’s such gorgeous beaches that we walked to multiple times a day. Highly recommend walking along the little trail by kaihalulu Beach all the way to Kahuku Point. We saw some monk seals! Ry’s Poke Shack is phenomenal! Do not miss this place! I think about it every day.

Perfect Location

This property was the perfect vacation spot. Close to the beach (within walking distance) and swimming pool. We loved the location, especially that it was away from the business of the city. Better Than Expected

The property was exactly what we were looking for, and better than expected. Location is ideal if you are wanting something that is relaxing, quiet, and close to the ocean. Miles of beaches are nearby, the local fruit stand across from the property has excellent fruit and groceries are nearby.

Slice of North Shore Paradise

This place is a great location on the North Shore, and has the essential kitchen amenities so that you don't need to eat out all the time. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, as that's usually an issue for me when I travel. There are a lot of walking trails nearby and my spouse and I enjoyed walking and exploring along the shore. The shore is a bit of a walk, but easily do-able.

comfortable and quiet

My husband and I had stayed in a condo next to what used to be called Turtle Bay Resort and is now called the Ritz Carlton, quite a few years ago. We talked to Deb, the property manager, to get the address to our condo and she told us the Condo's name had been changed to Kawela but the condos{ were still there with the same access to the beaches and the beautiful bay next to the Resort. Our condo was about a 10-15 minute walk on a nice walk way to get to all the beach accesses. The condo was very nice, not fancy but had everything we needed. A good bed, fully stocked kitchen, new couch and nice furniture and a very nice pool.. It was quiet and Deb helped up with the TV and all our questions. We would definitely stay there again.

North shore delight

Our stay was delightful. Turtle bay for swimming plus the pool by the condo. The unit was cared for and fully equipped. Ground floor unit in a very quiet building with assigned parking. Beverly was very nice and helpful. Would definitely consider a return to this unit.

Great stay near Turtle Bay

Escape the Waikiki crowds and getaway to north shore. Condo does have some older features but it’s worth the price. Very pleasant in early June with the doors open to catch the trade winds, but light be hot later in summer. Loved the easy drive to countless beaches and roadside eateries. Hukilau Marketplace and the Polynesian Cultural center are close and worth the trip! Bev was very helpful and made everything easy.

Family Vacation

Our family flew in for our grandson’s first birthday party. It was the perfect location to the party. It was also the perfect location to Turtle Bay 🌈 and everything in the North Shore. We love the North Shore and would not stay anywhere else. This was the first time at a rental as our family lives in Hawaii, but there was so much family staying that they could not accommodate everyone. I would definitely rent from this renters again. It was a great price and location. Bev the manager is great and always available if you need anything.

Clean basic condo

Very clean, adequate basic older condo with dated furnishings. Firmer mattress but comfortable, cold a/c in br, futon lacks cushioning. Friendly manager on site, 5 min walking distance to resort and to Lei Leis restaurant. Quiet environment. Only slight musty odor upon opening door, not a problem for us. We enjoyed our stay!

Nice condo in very nice resort area

Well stocked condo with a nice pool area and near to a protected resort beach. Beach is walkable but you can also park closer (public beach access). Condo is a fourplex so there is neighbour noise, nothing too bad during our stay. Reserved parking space. AC in bedroom keeps the unit cool. Only thing I would suggest to the owner is a bathroom reno. And to the renter, bring your own toilet paper!

Comfortable, safe, 3-5 min walk to the beach

This ground-level property was clean and well-maintained.The simple check-in process was so helpful. The host was wonderful and helpful. This property is in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Depending on how fast you walk you can get to the beach in 3-5 minutes. There are several beach areas within 15 minutes driving and 2 or 3 that you could walk to in 3-15 minutes. The kitchen was tidy, stocked with all of the essentials. I loved having laundry available in the apt. The pool was cute and very close, though i did not use it. The community is gated, adding to safety and the host was waiting for me when I arrived making it all very simple. I loved having a few beach items available for use! Those came in very handy! I would recommend and would stay again. This would be a good place to bring children as well, noting that there is 1 bedroom and a sofa bed. The sliding glass door opens to a backyard area next to the gorgeous golf course.

The good and the not-so-good

The location of this property is great---close to everything you want to get to on the North Shore. Check-in process was fairly easy but required texts/phone calls to alert the property manager so she could meet us. I would prefer an easier check-in process---Just give me a code to open the door or front gate on my own. The physical condition of the unit is ok. It is an older unit and could benefit from some updating. Specifically, upgrade to a king bed, replace the tub/shower unit, and get better living room furniture. There is only a sofa which had no arms. There is plenty of room to add a comfy chair and a more comfy sofa. It could even be a sleeper sofa so the unit could accomodate more guests. Also the unit does not have central air conditioning. There is a window unit in the front bedroom and several ceiling/free-standing fans but if you are hot-natured, this is not the place for you! Designated parking spot is right outside the door . The unit has access to the Turtly Bay Resort restaurants and stores but not the pools and maybe not the beaches. We didn't find an easy access point to the beaches but didn't put a lot of effort into it. We dined at Lei Lei's one night and really enjoyed it. It is a very short walk from the condo. Overall, it was a good spot for our two-night stay.
