"Lovely historical Inn that has many beautiful courtyards and flowers. We were in one of the outer buildings on the 2nd story that had a lot of stairs, so be careful if this is an issue for you (the main building does have an elevator). But, despite the heat and humidity, we enjoyed our little balcony overlooking a courtyard and two water features. They offer a decent breakfast, but we thought it was a great location close to several fun places for breakfast, and downtown shopping. The buildings are older, so keep that in mind, but we found it much more charming than a modern motel."

"Great location! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go downtown. The upstairs living space was so cozy. Beds were very comfortable. The house is beautiful! My only wish is more window privacy in the bathrooms. I felt the curtains were a little see-through Overall, great visit. Can’t wait to come back."

"The unit is perfectly situated in the downtown area. Located directly across from Old Bull Tavern which was excellent for our dinner on first night. Located one block from main shopping area and two blocks to the waterfront. The unit is very old and therefore doesn't seem to have any insulation. It was extremely hot (upper 90's) while we were there and there was no adjusting the mini-split air conditioner. Had to keep the double (2 layers of curtains) curtains closed to block out the heat from the windows, which made the inside very dark. Lighting is also dim. There were only 2 pillows that had pillowcases on them. No kitchen towels, only paper towels. The unit itself is very charming with exposed slurry walls and what appears to be original flooring. Also, there is track lighting but they don't seem to work. A parking pass was included so we were able to park our car about a block away and just walked everywhere which was very convenient. The host was responsive to my messages. I would rent again, but when the weather is not so hot!"

"My experience was excellent from the day I made the reservation. Very attentive. The place is quiet, the beds are comfortable, and everything is clean. They respond to messages quickly. Overall, I enjoyed it. I have another son graduating from the Marines soon, and I will definitely return to the same place. It's a 13minute walk from the entrance to Parris Island."
