This place felt like a paradise, the nature around was truly special and very rejuvenating, the rooms were very zen and clean. Staff was accomodating and nice and their wellness services were incredible. I’d always come here again! Truly an unforgetable experience

Always happy to be back there again !From the moment I arrived,I was greeted with warm hospitality and peacefull athmosphere that immediately put me at ease.The lush surroundings,including breathtaking views of the nature ,created the perfect backdrop for relaxation and inner reflection.The accomodations at OYA resort were top-notch,offering a perfect blend of comfort and tranquility.The room was spavious ,beautifully decorated,and meticulously clean,providing a peaceful sanctuary for rest and rejuvenation.I especially loved the eco-friendly initiatives,wchich added to the overall sence of connection with nature.The wellness programs and other special activities offered at OYA were truly expectional.From yira and meditation sessions and healing therapies,every experience was thoughtfully curated to nourish the mind,body,and soul.The knowledgeable and friendly staff went above and beyond to make sure that every guest felt supported and inspired on their journey .One of the hihlights of my stay was delicious and nutritious meals prepared with fresh,locally sourced ingredients.Overall ,my experiences at OYA New Earth Retreat exceeded all expectations,leaving me feeling refreshed and deeply connected to myself and the natural beauty that surrounds us. Oya is beautiful quiet luxury, definitely a hidden gem. The space is beautiful, the decor was minimal but so pleasing, the pool was perfection. That being said here is what I wish I knew before arriving: think of the space like an airbnb and less like a hotel/resort. If you want any snacks, soft drinks, juice etc plan to bring groceries of your own. They have a list of cocktails but when we inquired about it they said they could hire a bar tender to come for $100, not a big issue but if we knew we would have brought our own drinks. Lunch and dinner can be added for a charge if you let them know in advance and the chef is a great, wonderful Dominican lady. Breakfast was included and was lovely. If you are a party of more than 2 be aware that the large bedroom only has AC in the main area, there’s a second little room in the bedroom and it does not have AC and was very hot. AC is only in the bedrooms in general so plan to be warm in the common areas, we didn’t mind that very much since we spent most of the time at the pool. The staff communicates through WhatsApp and they respond right away to any questions and will make accommodations for you if needed. The beach is 25 mins away and definitely worth the trip!
