"Enchanting hotel that was evident from the time we drove up to the property and until we departed. Staying in a parador is always a treat and this one added an extra special experience looking out from our balcony and walking on the path through by a centuries old castle. Add to this the wonderful staff who met all of our needs to make this an unforgettable stay. We are looking forward to a return stay in the near future!"

"We loved the position of this hotel that was close to everything you want to see in the old town and the restaurants too. The staff were extremely helpful. Our room on the 7th floor had a very compact bathroom and when the door was opened it caught the knees and toes of the person sitting in the toilet behind. "This was by far one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff asked for credit card numbed over WhatsApp before I even arrived. Nobody told me there wouldn’t be hot water until I found out myself and asking, the room was disgusting, smelled of smoke, trash and standing water in the shower from the previous guest. Somehow the room was blistering hot despite it being December and the AC didn’t work. "

"This was an unusual place to stay overnight on our way further South in Spain. The location was accurately given by both Google Maps and Waze. You have to trust them as the approach looks a bit unlikely as you get nearer. May be tricky if arriving in the dark. "I picked the Pension because it was close to the town center. Check in was ok—I was there at 1230 and check in wasn’t until 1430. Fair dues, the owner gave me my room right away. The premises and the room seemed tired, worn out, and a bit grubby. Light in the passageway was an issue at night. In the bathroom there was a sulphorous odor. If you kept the bathroom door closed it didn’t get into the bedroom. The shower is small, and it was a bit like having a fight with yourself in a telephone...

"The Hostel is situated on elevated ground pretty far from the train station. So if you have a luggage, you will have to lug approximately 2KM and uphill to the property. Otherwise, the front reception staff is friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and clean. Breakfast is pretty good compared to many other hostels"
