"The rooms were clean. The carpet was stained and its dullness allowed the age to become more apparent. The tub had a steady loud drip, wall paper was peeling back, no refrigerator in our room, and water stains on the wall from apparent water leaks. We did however have a nice view on our balcony of the River and Jax. House keeping was very accommodating unlike the front desk staff. The breakfast was very undesirable and the kitchen had a difficult time keeping the buffet food filled. Quite honestly, We felt we overpaid for our stay....should have read previous reviews. Not ALL Double Trees are the same !!"

"Great staff. Great amenities. The pool is awesome. The on site restaurant and bar were great. The view from the room was perfect, watched the sunrise from the balcony in the morning. Slept with the door open to hear the sound of the ocean waves crashing all night. Would definately recommend. "

"The common areas were cleaned daily and in good condition but the room was terrible. House keeping is not done daily and they say they’re done every third day but they didn’t clean our room one time throughout the entire 6 night stay. They only took out our trash and gave new towels when specifically requested but didn’t. Hangs the sheets / clean the bathroom / even wipe counters down even though someone from housekeeping told me they specifically were going to do a full clean that day. We were traveling with our newborn and I didn’t feel clean the entire time we were there and we ended up just leaving a night early because it was so upsetting and we couldn’t take it anymore. It wasn’t utterly filthy but it just gave the vibes that they don’t really clean that well between guests either and that was not the experience we paid for. The staff was nice and location was great though. If the hotel were to change their room cleaning system it would be a wonderful place to stay and I think this aspect is really holding them back from being amazing."

"We stayed 4 nights. Initially the room appeared decently clean but then we discovered a cockroach running on the main table. We were given another room. The bathroom sink would hardly drain. Shower water pressure was poor. AC worked well. Microwave didn’t work so they came up and replaced it. Fridge worked fine. It was just enough to stay for few nights. "
