A nightmare experience! Our fridge was not working (it was 63 degrees) from the moment we stepped in the unit. We contacted the Mocks - no apology, they just said 'we'll send someone out'. When I followed up six hours later, they then said that we should give the fridge more time to cool down. I explained that it had been 24 hours at this temp, and to PLEASE send someone. I then had to follow up about fifteen more times (emails, texts and phone calls) over the next several days to get this resolved. Thankfully, there was a second fridge in a detached garage down a walkway, which was very unclean and had the owner's items in it. I trekked back and forth in the rain many times a day to get items.
I asked for a partial refund for the days that the fridge was not working - they refused. After the fridge was finally fixed, the Mocks did not contact me once to confirm it was fixed.
In addition, there was construction on the ramp to the beach right outside our unit. Music and construction noise from 8am throughout the day, which forced us to keep the doors closed the whole time. We were not informed of any construction and when we asked the Mocks about it, there was no apology or explanation.
It is such a shame to write this review, because the unit is nice, attractive and clean overall! I would not have given a one-star review (even with some issues!) if the property managers were not a nightmare to work with and had done ANYTHING to make it right!
If the owner changes property managers, go stay here! Until then, stay away!
