Fantastic service and friendly staff. The restaurant is very good. The swimming pool was not working though and was a challenge for our long stay with the family.

The staff was amazing. They all have done their best in terms of hospitality. The hotel conditions are pretty bad. The rooms, stains in carpets, cracks in bathrooms, not properly placed tap misplacements. Except for the beautiful staff, I would recommend SwissHotel Efes.

Everything was excellent, location of this hotel was perfect for our stay. My only black point was the lack of a tour desk or concierge advise for tourist information. I wanted a last minute reservation for a tour, front desk staff wanted to help me and offered me a 250 euros tour per person, I went outside and on travel & tour agency got a 110 euros per person, same tour and maybe more vip than expected in the hotel. Please try to be more helpful and defend tourist from scammers. Also taxis are rude and non trustful.

Short Ismir stay.

A good chain hotel in the heart of Izmir. Rooms are a little dated but still well maintained. Service was excellent. Free valet parking.

Knowledgeable and properly trained Hotel Staff. Its a professionally run Hotel, happy to assist with requests. The location is perfect. Great restaurants & shops. If its a pizza, Venedik Pizza is close by & the food/shopping at Konak Pier is very good. The Old Town is a short distance away.

I recently stayed at the Movenpick Izmir and was so impressed by the hotel and staff. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately I fell ill during my stay, but the hotel staff went above and beyond to assist and accommodate me. They helped me arrange trips to the hospital, delivered my medication when I couldn't get out of bed and sent tea up to the room for me. They called to check on me throughout my stay and truly made me feel cared for. I will come back to Izmir to see what I missed while sick and I will definitely stay at the Movenpick again!

Mövenpick Izmir is strategically Located on Cumhuriyet Blvd and opposite Cumhuriyet Meydani. Niche restaurants are near Meydani vivid area. Cosy Hotel, classic and modern. Friendly staff, I extend my gratitude to Murat, Samet at check in, Elayda very helpful guest relations, Ilgan at reception, Semra at Dining room. All are welcoming professional and attentive. Maintence staff very attentive quick. They fixed curains so as Housekeeping are professional Rooms are nicely decorated and toilets with nice design. The only thing need to be improved at rooms water pressure for sink and shower, maybe our room only not all hotels rooms so I cannot generalise room #903. The shade curtains I recommend to be upgraded to electrical rather than manual. There is a Dining room on 9th floor that need to be separated from rooms at least for its accessibility enterance. So no odours are in hallway. Hotel has a nice Icecream by Mövenpick must tey it..The Hotel is a great hotel that I strongly recommend to anyone visiting Izmir.

The A/C does not provide sufficient cooling even in the most powerful setting. Considering the previous reviews from other clients, this seems like an unresolved issue and makes the room uncomfortable. The room was clean although there were some spots showing its age. Staff&service were great but maintenance and facilities need some work. I don’t think I will stay here again unless the A/C problem is resolved.

Perfect in all aspects. We called before booking and informed them we have a high car. They had valet parking. We parked at the reception. They removed the cones for us. We had a 2.4 meters high car. We took the luggage and they took the car to the back of the hotel. You can have access to the car from the hotel's back door. The reception staff were amazing. The decor is old but still grand. The room was big, had all the amenities. Bathroom had a 'window' over the bathtub looking into the room, but you can close the blind by turning the small knob in the bathroom. Quiet rooms. Breakfast was buffet..15€ per person if you book it at the reception before breakfast. The location is spot on. Walking distance to the lovely promenade. Restaurants galore!!
