「Upon approaching the lodge, we were appalled at the condition of the building. It was run down and the landscaping needed attention. We were also very surprised to read a note on the outside of room saying that all Finger Lakes Lodging guests must register at the Mirbeau Inn & Spa down the road. We did as the note requested and went down to the spa. I wasn't very far away. Upon approaching the front desk I was asked how I was today. I said very disappointed in the condition of the building...

「John, the owner of the property is very nice and communicative. The house is new and John is just finishing the new deck. It's not on the lake it's across the street but you can still see the lake. If he is able to cut down a couple of trees it would be an absolutely beautiful view. We only stayed 1 night because we were going back and forth to Watkins Glen International.
