Location

Being close to the city center and Taksim Square was very important to me, and Nostalgia Hostel solved this issue. In addition, the staff is nice and the terrace view is very beautiful. I recommend it for those looking for a short or long-term stay at an economical cost.

Definitely stay away

Cleanliness is terrible. Ripped bedsheets, toilets rife with cockroaches, owner has been telling me for a month he will refund me though he has been beating round the bush. Photos are extremely misleading please stay away, I stayed for a day couldn't stand and left!

The worst!!!!

The worst place I have ever visited! It was like a refugee place! The beds so uncomfortable, noisy people with no respect at 2 am every day, smocking in the room (people paid a moth because they are refugees or something like that) the bathrooms were a nasty place, 1 toilette for 18 people!! . Please pay $2 dlls more and get a better and safety place. Don’t go there!! The pics are not real!

the place is unsanitary, with bedbug infestation, dirty sheets, bathroom with visible sewage, no cleaning, high risk of contamination, I had to leave and look for another hostel, not even as a last resort, better to sleep on the floor of the airport which is cleaner

DO NOT COME TO THIS HOSTEL. They are allowing homeless people with government stipends to room here. Every room is loud at night and dirty. Homeless people are smoking in the halls all day and throughout the night. Lots of sick people. Other rooms are reserved for long stay tenants who are just as loud and noisy. Owners are lazy and do not clean anything. It is not safe. DO NOT COME HERE. If you are in Istanbul and need an affordable place to stay, there are plenty of other options.
