The place is dirty and rib off. No access to the rooms and you have to climb three narrow stairs. I got suck in rhe room and rbey charged for making dirty without reason and have to pay towels mjne.

hotel was great

Friendly staff, perfect for families you feel very welcoming every time you walk in, most of them speaks a little English, Leo speaks English fluently, he is a very helpful person kids used to like dealing with him Specially in the morning while having breakfast, one day my daughter wasn’t eating he played cartoon on his own phone to make her eat. the bald guy with thick mustache forgot his name used to give my daughter a high five every time we walk passed him, the room is so simple, small, clean there was no elevator but not a big deal we were in the 3rd last floor every single time we walked in with bags they helped us to take everything up stairs, thanks to Leo and the overnight guy for helping us getting our 8 bags down stairs when we were leaving. Bunch of restaurants and groceries around, the public transportation is very close by. Thanks golden gate staff for Making our 15 nights nice.

Good Budget Hotel Outside Center
The Hotel is well located for easy access to IST Airport or Bus Station, or anywhere in the City; with only a 300m walk to Tram line. Also, many decent eateries and small grocery market stores in the neighborhood. Rooms themselves are good size by Istanbul standards, renovated well, clean and furnished comfortably. Also enjoyed their Breakfast. The Staff is very friendly and hospitable. We will return. Recommended.

The location was excellent with good public transport widely available. Service was good. The only criticism I would make is that the sound insulation between the guest rooms did not seem to be very good. Otherwise excellent.

Goldengate gets all my stars!
Although the bed linen was spotless, the room was very small and shabby. However, it was more than made up for by the wonderful staff! I arrived at 01.40 and someone was there especially to carry my luggage and sign me in, which he did with very good grace. The restaurant is outside within a glass enclosure and faces the street. Excellent buffet Turkish style breakfast with friendly staff and elegant seating. I enjoyed watching the world go by and will certainly visit to eat there as I live nearby. I had to stay overnight due to having lost my flat keys at security at the airport (much hassle and many people). I asked help from a gentleman I took to be the Goldengate proprietor/manager and, although he didn't speak English himself, he fetched someone (not hotel staff) who did. The then gentleman contacted a locksmith for me and acted as go-between to arrange for him to meet me at my flat. On my return, he then found a young man to accompany me to carry my suitcases up the six stories of my building (there is no lift). As I'm moving here I had a lot of luggage. I couldn't have had better service or extra-service help at any hotel at all. In fact, I'm certain staff at a five star would not have been able to stop to help me even if they wanted to. I'm so glad I found Goldengate otherwise I can't imagine how I would have got into my flat as I don't yet have friends or contacts who could have helped.

Vom ersten Tag war die Decke im Bad Vollwasser und hat die ganze Zeit getropft. Personal war nett und Zimmer getauscht aber zum Keller. Es gab weder Kleiderschrank noch Wasserkocher. Zimmer hat einen schrecklichen Geruch. Ich musste woanders übernachten. Bin im Zimmer 2 Tage von 7 geschlafen. Personal nett 4 Sterne, Einrichtung gar keinen Stern

Ik had een fantastisch verblijf in Hotel Goldengate! De locatie kon niet beter zijn - perfect gelegen met gemakkelijke toegang tot het openbaar vervoer en allerlei bezienswaardigheden in de buurt. Het personeel was buitengewoon vriendelijk en behulpzaam, wat mijn ervaring nog aangenamer maakte. Ik kan dit hotel ten zeerste aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar comfort en gemak tijdens hun reis! Hotel Goldengate wij gaan elkaar nog zeker zien in de toekomst!

İnsanlar güleryüzlü yaklaşımları güzel ancak kaldığım oda çok küçüktü sıcak su yetersizdi. Oda soğuktu kalorifer çalışmıyordu klima ile ısınmak konforlu değildi. 1 gece konakladığım için problem etmedim ancak uzun süre kalmak isteyen misafirleri memnun etmek için kendilerini geliştirmeliler.

Kein fließendes warmes wasser Obwohl nichtraucherzimmer gebucht wurde bekamen wir ein raucherzimmer, auf 'beschwerden' bzw. Wünschen wurde nicht eingegangen Sehr sehr sehr klein Sehr dreckig. Blutflecke im bett, auf wunsch wurde einfach nur das bett gemacht und nicht die bettwäsche ect gewechselt. Sehr kalt, keine heizung. Wände sehr dünn, man hört was in den neben zimmern passierte. Toilettenpapier war nie reichlich vorhanden, sodass ich in der nacht auf klo ging und nichts nachfüllen konnte und wenn man auch keine taschentücher hat, dann ist man verloren. Kurz gesagt, auch für 1 mio euro würde ich keine einzige nacht im hotel verbringen!!!! Wenn ich minus sterne geben könnte, würde ich das tun.

Avantajları fazla.
Otel'in konumu merkezi bir yerde. Hemen önünde otobüs durakları, büfe, pastane vb. var. Otelin kendi otoparkı olması büyük avantaj ekstradan otopark ücreti vermiyorsunuz. Otelin odaları gerçekten ufak. İş amaçlı yaptığımız seyahatte odaya arkadaşım ile sığamadık. Yan yana geçmek gerçekten sıkıntı. Bunun dışında odalar temiz ve modern. Dekorasyon güzel. Yalnız bizim kaldığımız 305 numaralı odada elbise dolabı yoktu. Kenara köşeye (tv'nin yanı veya kapı arkası olabilir) bir dolap şart. Kıyafetlerimizi çanta içinde yere koymak zorunda kaldık. Bunun dışında odada klima, buzdolabı, tv, sıcak su vardı. Kahvaltı biraz vasat ama iş görüyor. Çalışanlar ise 10 numara. Güleryüzlü ve her daim yardımcı. İngilizce bilen personeller mevcut. Buradan bize çok yardımcı olan otel personeli Zimbabweli Leo'ya selamlarımı iletiyorum. Özetle: tavsiye ederim.
