The owners of this boutique hotel are incredibly kind and welcoming. One of the biggest take-aways from our trip to Istanbul was how helpful, kind and accommodating the people were, nobody more so than the hoteliers at Dilhayat

We had a lovely stay here! It was close to some of the key local attractions which made it easy to come back for a nap between sight seeing (needed given our jet lagged state). Breakfast on the rooftop was a highlight!

Comfort in Historical location

The hotel is a charming little place run by family. The service was great, we got a lot of help and everything we asked for. It felt like we were staying with a relative. The building is old, historic, so it was worn down a little but it was everything I was hoping for. Short walk to all historic monuments with lots of food options near by. We got the family suite because we were there for a friend’s wedding and it was very spacious and comfortable to get ready in. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants an authentic experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dilhayat Kalfa Hotel! Our room on the first floor was beautiful, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities we needed. The breakfast menu changed daily, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The hotel is within walking distance of many attractions, and public transportation options like the metro and bus are easily accessible. We highly recommend staying here to experience its antique charm and cozy atmosphere!

The service was absolutely top notch; I really enjoyed chatting with the manager who was always helpful and willing to do whatever he needed to for the customers. The location is absolutely ideal for a visit to the old city. The area has tons of shops, restaurants, and all of the major sites within a few minutes walk.

If we ever return to Istanbul, which I hope we do, we will be staying at Dilhayat Kalfa again. I would recommend this hotel very highly. The staff was amazing. It's in the perfect location, the room was clean, comfortable, and unique. There are artwork and sculptures throughout the building. But the real pleasure is the rooftop cafe for breakfast. A delicious Turkish Breakfast and the most amazing view of Istanbul. We loved this hotel!

Amazing Stay in an Amazing City

Amazing stay. Abdul is the best manager. Super friendly and attentive to your needs. Location is great. Right in the middle of the area where all the attractions are. Yet still quiet The decor in the hotel is really good. Especially the lobby. The rooftop terrace has a great view from where you can have a good breakfast. Could not recommend more!

We had some problems with our initial check in and the state of the room when we arrived, which was really frustrating. However, what made it a great stay in the end was the manager, Abdul, who really went out of his way to make it a good experience when he was on shift the next day. He also recommended us some great restaurants in the area that aren’t just tourist traps!

We were pleasantly greeted by Abdul, our host, who set us up in a room, though we arrived before their check-in time. He further moved our luggage to another room the following day. He was most helpful is directing us to eateries, arranging for reservations to a Turkish bathhouse, and taxis to various locations. The location was great and rooms were very clean as well as having necessary amenities. Breakfast was very good with a rooftop view of the Marmar sea. We would definitely stay there again.

My sister and I stayed here for about 10 days and as two ladies staying alone in Istanbul for the first time were so happy with the location! The people running the B &B are so nice and accommodating, it was like staying with family. Abdul Raheem was amazing! My sister had to go to urgent care and he made arrangements for us with a trusted taxi to take us and bring us back. He also helped call the hospital and speak to the staff later when we needed help getting the report. Above and beyond service is an understatement! Also the location of this place is great! We could walk to almost anywhere in SultanAhmet day or night with no issues! And the view from the breakfast terrace is amazing! If I ever come back to Istanbul I'll definitely stay here again!

Lovely stay in Istanbul

The hotel was about 700meters from Sutanamet tram station. It was near many dinners and shops. Nice quiet neighborhood.
